Winnipeg Jets have re-assigned Julian Melchiori to the Moose

Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff in his end of trade deadline chat indicated that the Jets have sent Julian Melchiori back to the Manitoba Moose.  Melchiori was called up on the 27th of February after the bye week ended although he didn’t play on Tuesday against the Wild with the early return of Tobias Enstrom.  With Jacob Trouba now back from suspension, Melchiori was available to be returned to the AHL.

The Manitoba Moose are on a four game road trip (they won game one on Tuesday).  They play three games in threedays starting on Friday in Rockford.
