Notable:

Josh Morrissey moved into a tie with Bryan Little in the 5th overall spot for games played wearing a Winnipeg jersey. This game in Buffalo is his 561st in a Jets uniform. Seems like just yesterday he was being drafted 13th overall in New Jersey.

Josh Morrissey up to 15 assists in his last 8 games. The pass to Nino Niederreiter to tie the game 1-1 was fantastic vision by 44 rather than just taking an ineffective shot towards the net.

Perhaps he was sick of all those apples as Josh Morrissey made a nice move to tie the game.

With Mark Scheifele’s assist on the game tying goal by 44 he’s up to 699 points in his career in game 777.

Morgan Barron with his first goal in 21 games ripped home the game-winning goal with 6:05 left in the 3rd. That’s his 10th goal of the season.

Then Namestnikov and Monahan added empty netters to seasl the deal.

Jets are 6-0 in the second game of a back-to-back.

Jets pick up their 39th win of the season as they defeat the Sabres in their 60th game of the season. Compare that to:
In 2022-23 win 39 came in game 70.
In 2017-18 win 39 came in game 65.

Multipoint Game:

Josh Morrissey 1G 1A
Vlad Namestnikov 1G 1A
