Winnipeg Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff breaks down day 1 at 2019 NHL Draft

Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff spoke following the conclusion of the first day of the NHL Draft in Vancouver which saw his team select Finnish left-shooting defenceman Ville Heinola with the 20th overall pick.

GM Kevin Cheveldayoff scrum topics:  Thoughts on Ville Heinola.  Did he stand out at the World Junior Championship?  Discussions at the NHL Combine.  On Heinola comparing himself to Miro Heiskanen. What are the plans for Heinola next season?  Jets European scouts.  How many guys do they have overseas?  On the number of projected high picks still available at 20.  A smaller player who will develop but has played with men.  What does he look for at Development Camp?
