All sorts of records keep getting set by this Jets team as they win their final game of the regular season 2-1 in OT. What a play by Josh Morrissey defensively and then feeds Mark Scheifele for the OT GWG. The victory was the 56th for Winnipeg which got them to 116 points setting the new franchise single season points record.

Notable:
The Jets allowed just the one goal which meant for the second straight year they were the only team to allow fewer than 200 goals in the season. Connor Hellebuyck won his second straight William Jennings Trophy as a result.
Cole Perfetti had an assist on the opening goal of the game which means he accomplished his first ever 50 point season.
Kyle Connor got an assist on the OT goal which gives him 97 points which is the most ever for a player in the 2.0 era.
Mark Scheifele with the GWG also set his career high for points at 87. He also set a franchise record for game-winning goals in a season with his 11th. He previously held the record with Kyle Connor.
With an assist on the GWG Josh Morrissey moved ahead of Bryan Little into 5th spot on the All-Time Jets 2.0 points list with 373. And what a great defensive play by him.
We also learned that game 1 will be Saturday at 5 PM CDT.
