The Jets lost last night to the Wild in OT but before the game got to extra time there was a sequence where Joel Eriksson Ek cross-checked Josh Morrissey from behind. Subsequently Dylan DeMelo retaliated later in the sequence leaving to a last minute power play which Minnesota used to tie the game.
A clip of the hit on Josh Morrissey that led to Dylan DeMelo’s retaliation and Scott Arniel’s strong words.
This is the hit in question.
Scott Arniel on the hit by Joel Eriksson Ek on Josh Morrissey:
“That was a terrible non-call on Josh Morrissey. Absolute terrible non-call. It should have been called. Head-first into the boards. And then a ticky tack little call after that.” pic.twitter.com/kJDNKnOaQw

Morrissey was on the ice for overtime including the final sequence which saw the visitors win the game.
Today, when practice got underway in Winnipeg, he was not on the ice as per Mitchell Clinton of the Jets.
After skate head coach Scott Arniel was asked for an update. He indicated:
“He’ll be day-to-day after that hit from last night.”
He went on to say that was a big part of why he was so angry post-game.
