Notable:
After starting the game for the Jets Eric Comrie was pulled by the concussion spotters and Connor Hellebuyck was unexpectedly thrust into the net after just 3:15 expired in the 1st. Comrie had played a few shifts after getting hit. He would return with Winnipeg down 1-0.
Brandon Tanev welcomed himself back to Seattle with this hit.
With the Jets in a bit of a funk and needing something Cole ‘Prick’fetti scored his 14th of the season bringing the visitors within one with just 16 seconds left in the 1st period. He and his former roommate (Dylan Samberg) combined for that one. It wouldn’t be the last time we write about those two.
Not sure what was filthier: the assist or the goal. What a pass by Morgan Barron and what a goal by Kyle Connor. Connor takes team goal scoring lead with his 36th and sits 3rd overall in the NHL for goals.
After a heck of a 3rd period that didn’t result in any goals it was the former roomies combining for the OT winner as this time Cole Perfetti returned the favour to Dylan Samberg, who gets his first ever OT GWG.
Multi Point Game:
Dylan Samberg 1G 1A
Cole Perfetti 1G 1A
