Winnipeg Jets comeback to improve to 2-0 with late game tying goal and then win in OT over the Blackhawks

Mark Scheifele tied it late then he wins it, scoring in overtime after a nifty pass by Kyle Connor as the Jets improve to 2-0 on the season to win their home opener.

Notable:

Took almost 100 minutes for Connor Hellebuyck to give up his first goal of the season and that was the only goal he’d give up this game as the defending Vezina winner continues to perform this season making 25 saves on 26 shots and he’s made 55 saves on 56 shots.

While it looked like Arvid Soderblom was gonna win it for his club the Jets finally cracked him late with a 6 on 5 advantage as Mark Scheifele dove to score his second goal of the season. And then 55 would play the hero scoring his 300th NHL goal which also turned out to be the OT GWG.
