Notable:

It was a milestone game tonight for Connor Hellebuyck as he passed Dustin Byfuglien on the Jets All-Time games played list with 529 wearing a Winnipeg uniform for 8th.

Nikita Chibrikov folks. Three NHL games Three NHL goals as he opened the scoring to put the Jets up 1-0.

Winnipeg almost went a full period without a shot on goal.

The Golden Knights got an early goal in the 3rd to tie. Then Josh Morrissey fired home his first goal in 20 games to make it a 2-1 game for the home side.

But two late penalties (one valid, one not) made it a 5 on 3 for Vegas who tied the game.

And then a bad line change coupled with a bad pass meant the Jets would only walk away with a single point as they lose their first game in extra time of the season.
