Winnipeg Jets Cole Perfetti expected to miss the rest of the season

The writing was on the wall that Jets 2020 1st rounder Cole Perfetti wasn’t likely going to be a player in the remaining four home games for Winnipeg. Despite the fact that he joined the team for the road trip as he rehabbed from a couple of injuries that have had him out of the lineup since mid February the report from the road five days ago was that he would skate sparingly as he returned to the ice.

That was confirmed today following Jets practice when interim head coach Dave Lowry indicated as per Ken Wiebe of Sportsnet that Perfetti was not expected to play another game this season.

Tough news for the prospect who will not be able to join the Moose for their playoff run.
