Winnipeg Jets captain Blake Wheeler and Nikolaj Ehlers react to Patrik Laine trade

Given all that has transpired since news broke that Winnipeg and Columbus were setting up a trade call this morning, followed by the news that Patrik Laine had been dealt to the Blue Jackets along with Jack Roslovic for Pierre Luc Dubois and a 3rd round pick in 2022 it is hard to believe there is still a hockey game to be played tonight between Winnipeg and Ottawa at 9 PM CT.

Following today’s optional skate at Bell MTS Place not surprisingly all the talk was focused on the trade.  We heard from Jets captain Blake Wheeler as well as Laine’s closest friend on the team, Nikolaj Ehlers.
