Last season it was Blake Wheeler and Connor Hellebuyck who went to Tampa to represent the Winnipeg Jets at the 2018 All-Star game and today it was announced that top centre Mark Scheifele and winger Blake Wheeler will be heading to San Jose to represent their team at the 2019 game.
In 39 games for Winnipeg this season Wheeler has 6 goals and 44 assists for 50 points while Scheifele has 22 goals and 27 assists for 49 points. That is good enough to put them 10th and 11th overall in NHL scoring respectively. In November Blake Wheeler was named the Second Star of the Week (Nov 12th) while in December Mark Scheifele was named the First Star of the Week (Dec 3rd) and Second Star of the Week (Dec 17th).
