Winnipeg Jets Anthony Peluso has upper body injury

In the 1st period of last night’s Jets and Islanders game winger Anthony Peluso launched into the New York net and appeared to be in significant discomfort on the ice.  He was down for a bit and then immediately made his way to the Jets dressing room and did not return for the rest of the game.

Unsurprisingly he missed skate today at the MTS Centre and following same coach Paul Maurice provided an updated on his condition saying he has an “upper body injury-best case scenario is 3-4 weeks”.

My guess is the Jets will recall JC Lipon.  (Update:  Jets recall JC Lipon).
