Winnipeg Jets Afternoon News (Thursday, Nov 3rd)

Winnipeg Free Press:  Noel says broken collar bone will keep Enstrom out indefinetely.  Put this in the worst possible news category for the Jets.  They cannot afford to be without the services of this versitile d-man.

Globe and Mail:  Jets dealing with comfort zone problems on defence.  It is Bogosian’s time to shine as the Jets will be leaning on him big time in the coming week.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets to face Islanders with a fresh defence.  Expect some new defensive pairings tonight.  Here is what they had at practice this AM.

Flood was paired with Johnny Oduya, Dustin Byfuglien worked with Randy Jones and Festerling was teamed with Zach Bogosian.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets defence in flux as they prepare for Islanders.  They will be up against an Islanders team that is in the midst of a losing streak but has had four days off to lick their wounds and ready themselves for the Jets.

TSN:  Jets recall two players for date with Islanders.  Interesting that Pavelec will be getting his fourth start in a row.
