Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets, Leafs both eager to right recent stumbles in tonight’s game.  Winnipeg is coming off a well fought loss whereas Toronto was decimated by Dallas.  Both teams are desperate for a win which should translate into a very good hockey game tonight.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets still 10 points out of playoffs.  With the three point format of the NHL making up ground, especially when it is a tall high to climb, is not an easy task.  It is why people point to teams not in a playoff position by November 1st and show how unlikely it is to get back above the line.

Toronto Sun:  Jets catching Leafs at a bad time.  Always better to face a team coming off a 7-1 win instead of the alternative.  Should make for a surly bunch.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jetting down south for a good cause.  Nice ingenuity and in support of charity.
