Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press: Four Jets to compete at Sochi, but none for Canada.  Should be a good experience for the players and an additional task for coach Noel to manage them when they return.
Blake Wheeler 3 wm

CBC:  5 things to watch.  Jeff looks at a few things in advance of tonight’s game including a home remedy, another game vs. Bolts, young gun show, eyes on Big Buff and carrying the load.

TSN:  Jets set to face Lightning without Stamkos, Bishop.  Brian sets up the action.

Globe and Mail:  The All-Snub Team.  Good news Jets fans, captain Ladd made this team.  Unfortunately it was a roster of the players not selected to go to Sochi but who could make up a very good second Canadian squad.

Illegal Curve:  Coach Noel pre-game presser.   Breakdowns on Sunday’s game winning goal.  Thoughts on the Jets Olympians (Wheeler, Pavelec, Frolik & Jokinen).  Upside to the Jets for having players on Olympic teams?  How does it impact the team when those players get back from Olympics?  Frolik talk.  What kind of effort does he want from his team tonight?  On Ladd not making Team Canada and his effort this season.  Does he expect a different response from the captain?

Illegal Curve:  Game day set-up.  Ez sets up tonight’s action between Jets and Lightning including projected lineups, starting goalies and game notes.

Illegal Curve:  Jets on Finnish Olympic Team.  Olli Jokinen made the team.

Illegal Curve:  Morning PapersIf you missed any of the news this AM we have you covered.

Lightning news:

Tampa Bay Tribune:  St. Louis off Canadian Olympic team; Stamkos in.  Be sure to tune in after the game as Martin St. Louis wouldn’t talk to reporters following the pre-game practice.  Ezra will be in the Tampa Bay room and will have post game audio soon after the conclusion of tonight’ game.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Lightning’s Stamkos all smiles at being named to Team Canada.  Shouldn’t come as a surprise that Stamkos was named to the squad.
