Global News: Jets need to ensure Saturday’s win is first step of bounce-back. Jets head coach Rick Bowness was asked today if it will be tough to muster the same emotion from Saturday’s game HNIC game to a Monday contest: “It better not be. Yesterday morning we woke up in 3rd. This morning we wake up in 8th. That’s how tight it’s going to be”. Then spoke to team bringing the emotion. He points to Morrissey’s goal with 1.2 seconds and the passion that Mark Scheifele showed when he tackled 44. “That’s the passion. That’s the emotion that we want to see every night. That’s going to carry us through these next 19 games”.
