Jets head coach Dave Lowry utters the team’s disappointment and frustration for not making the playoffs this season, but says he believes the pieces are already there to contend next year, and that this year was an anomaly.
TSN: Wheeler on Jets’ season: I’m disappointed, feel like we’re back at square one. After another disappointing campaign, Blake Wheeler says you have to be careful of expectations when heading into a season. The Jets captain didn’t want to elaborate on what went wrong because his emotions were potentially a ‘little raw.’ Wheeler said he always felt like they were building to something and had young guys coming up, but now they are more searching for answers.
