We had James Duthie on the IC Hockey Show a few weeks back and I asked him about the trade deadline being a bit of a dud this year given all that is going on with the league.  LeBrun shares a similar sentiment in this piece which uses Winnipeg’s acquisition of Pierre-Luc Dubois as a reference point.

TSN:  Jets mentally prepared for grueling part of schedule. As Winnipeg get set to play the Canucks tonight on TSN, it will be the first of 17 games in the 31 days of March. With an unprecedented workload, the Jets say that they have been preparing for this, and are ready to pace and take care of themselves mentally, and physically.
