JetsTV: Ground Control Podcast. In the 94th episode of Ground Control Tyler, Mitchell and Jamie chat about an up-and-down week for the Winnipeg Jets, the addition of Pierre-Luc Dubois to the lineup, playing with 11 forwards and seven defenceman and much more. Plus, Tyler sits down with Trevor Lewis (11:58) to discuss joining a new team, dealing with the cold weather, being one of five NHL’ers from Utah, the 2002 Olympics and much more.
Moose news:
Illegal Curve: Moose to play remainder of season (after February) at Iceplex. Interesting report from the folks at Global. Makes sense from a cost perspective as I suspect the IcePlex is a lot more affordable to run over the downtown arena.
Illegal Curve: Moose name four players as alternate captains; no captain this season. With the retirement of Winnipegger and last ever Thrashers draft pick Peter Stoykewych from pro hockey last season it meant the Manitoba Moose would be without a captain in 2021. While they won’t have someone wearing the C they will have four with an A.
