Note II:  Down in St. Louis former Jets prospect Erik Foley who was part of the Paul Stastny trade has signed his three-year ELC with the Blues.  This means that the Jets will keep their conditional 2020 4th rounder which would have gone to St. Louis had they not been able to sign Foley by mid August.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets are rolling as they search for their seventh consecutive win as Comrie starts in goalGood time to get the prospect goalie another NHL start as he gets more comfortable with the big club.  Sounds like Steve Mason will be back sometime next week so this could be Comrie’s last start unless he ends up splitting the back-to-back in Ottawa/Montreal if Mason isn’t ready before he is returned to the MooseKen previews tonight’s contest.
