Winnipeg Free Press:  Lowry’s prolonged injury creates deep hole in roster.  (Paywall).  While the team has been able to continue their momentum without the big centre the uncertainty around his health does have the potential to leave a gaping hole up the middle.

TSN:  Wheeler wants to keep Jets’ success in perspective.  Following their comeback victory over the Capitals on Tuesday, Jets captain Blake Wheeler said he wanted to ‘pump the brakes’ on talks of his team’s Stanley Cup aspirations. On Friday, he reiterated that he just wants to keep things in perspective and says the challenge of making the Jets a contender is a fun prospect.
