Winnipeg Free Press: Jets call on Comrie to fill in for injured Mason. (Paywall). It will be interesting to see if the Jets bench boss is ready to insert Comrie into the spot that he has designated for Mason or if he will give Connor Hellebuyck a heavier workload.

Interesting comments from coach Maurice (you can hear them in the pre-game report) where he was asked about the type of response he is looking for from his team after being shutout he said “I think we might have played our best game. When we go back over chances for/chances against on volume it was the lowest that we gave up. They were kind of fatigued too. The chances that we gave up we didn’t care for, especially off our power play, if you took the special teams out, our 5 on 5 we were really good”.
