Jets news:

FRS News:  Josh Morrissey is quietly having a breakout season in Winnipeg.  After some seasoning in the AHL he has made a nice transition to the NHL.

FRS News:  Bob McKenzie doesn’t think Maurice is in any trouble with the Jets. Chris Nichols transcribed a chat TSN hockey insider Bob McKenzie on Vancouver’s TSN 1040 Thursday afternoon.

Winnipeg Sun:  Armia, Matthias back in Jets lineup tonight.  Ted’s game preview from Vancouver.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Matthias and Armia return to Jets lineup for rematch with Canucks.  (Paywall).  Paul’s game preview from Vancouver.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Plenty of blame to go around in Jetsville.   (Paywall).  Scott holds some folks accountable and isn’t afraid to apportion blame where he sees fit.

The Province:  Five items of note ahead of tonight’s game.  Includes: 1) Ryan Miller gets the start and the coach isn’t really sure why. 2) Alex Biega just played his best game. 3) Sven Baertschi was unfazed by his healthy scratch. 4) The Canucks power play continues to struggle. 5) Derek Dorsett gives a lot more detail about his surgery.

Sportsnet:  Handing out Western Conference trade grades for 2016.  The Jets didn’t make many (one) but they did get handed a nice grade for their effort.

ESPN:  The All-Trade-Candidates Team.  (Paywall).  No surprise that Jacob Trouba cracked this list.  Of course with the long term health of Tyler Myers currently in question this may not be the certainty it was once seen as.
