Jets news:
Winnipeg Free Press: Jets start key home-and-home series in Twin Cities. Many fans are thinking back to the the critical home & home (except both were played in Winnipeg) against the Capitals back in March of 2013 that the Jets failed to win to help propel them to the playoffs. While it is quite a bit earlier in the season these next two games are still important. You can expect plenty of emotion in tonight’s contest in St. Paul as coach Yeo said in his media scrum “this is a team that occupies a spot we want to get. This is a team that we want to know that we’re coming for them”.
Winnipeg Sun: Hutchinson to start second straight. Many fans who felt that Hutchinson deserved a string of starts have to be happy that the back-up will be in the net for another game. Of course if the Jets win it will be very interesting to see who coach Maurice starts on Monday.

Wild news:
Minneapolis Star-Tribune: Rejuvenated after break, Wild hopes to start a new chapter tonight against Winnipeg. Two teams who have been heading in opposite directions, the Wild look to reverse that course tonight against the Jets.
