Winnipeg Free Press:  Although Scheifele looking good for tonight’s game, Maurice shaking up lines.  Fans seem happy with the reunification of the Ladd/Little/Wheeler line.  Should be interesting to see what they can bring to the table.  In this link you can also watch Gary and Ed in the Jets This Week video posting talking about hitting the quarter mark of the season.

Winnipeg Sun:  Scheifele could play tonight.  Considering what happened to him the previous season Jets nation breathed a collective sigh of relief when it was revealed that he would be fine following the collision on Sunday.

CBC:  4 Thoughts.  Jeff gives you four thoughts today including: 1) Sigh of relief 2) Shuffling the deck 3) Putrid PP and 4) Mike’s back.

Illegal Curve:  Coach Maurice pre-game scrum (audio).  What is the status of Mark Scheifele. What was his reaction when he heard from the doctor yesterday? On the goalie rotation. On the tweaks to his lineup. On making the goals they are scoring count. Is there a confidence with this team? Does he regret starting Pavelec in a back to back and the makeup of his OT line that got scored against. Would he be comfortable playing Pavelec in the second game of a back to back in the future? Has Wheeler’s game changed that he can be better defensively with Ladd and Little. On the Kane/Byfuglien pairing with Perreault.

Star-Ledger:  Devils’ Jordin Tootoo disappointed he’s a scratch in his ‘hometown’.  Has to be tough to not get a chance to play in front of friends and family, especially when they’ve traveled that type of distance to be in attendance.
