Winnipeg Jets activate Mason Appleton; place Dylan DeMelo on IR

After missing most of the season with a wrist injury the Jets have activated Mason Appleton who will play tonight against the Hawks in Winnipeg.

In order to activate him from IR and be roster compliant the Jets have placed Dylan DeMelo on injured reserve.

After morning skate Jets coach Rick Bowness said he expects DeMelo to be ready for a full practice on Monday. (He was in a non-contact uniform today).

He also said they hope David Gustafsson will skate on Monday.
