Following a big round of cuts on Friday the Jets were back on the ice at the IcePlex today getting back into training camp after a day off. The updated training camp roster had the number of guys down to 27 but with Michael Spacek, Logan Stanley (injured) and Nic Petan (leave of absence) missing there were 24 players on the ice.
Via Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press here are how the Jets were running things at the IcePlex:

Coach Maurice: On the pace of skate. Different look to the D pairings. Is the Chiarot/Byfuglien pairing more of an offensive pairing? On Kulikov not being in the top six at today’s skate. Update on Spacek/Stanley. Is Monday the date to get down to 23? Ideally he’d like 22 players once season starts? Does that perfect world mean they’d start with 22 on the road. On Nic Petan’s status.
