Audio:

Dustin Byfuglien:  How would he describe this offseason?  His first impressions of Steve Mason and what can he do for the Jets.  What are the tricks to getting used to a new goalie as a defenceman in the NHL?  Addition of Matt Hendricks.  What are the keys to getting off to a good start and establishing a winning mentality early in the year?  What are the elements about this club that give him hope for the season?  With a healthy D, how does he see the minutes shaking out?  What has he seen from Logan Stanley?  Will the cutting down of minutes make him a better player?  Is he more or less patient with younger

Adam Lowry:  Nice from a player’s perspective to get into game action quickly?  Keys to shaking off the summer rust and getting into pre-season action.  Is it hard to curb the enthusiasm early on with the additions the team made over the summer?  What does he have to do to take strides to make himself a better player?

Coach Maurice:  Did he get stuff accomplished this weekend that he wanted to?  What is the most important thing a bubble player can show during pre-season?  Who will start tomorrow and will that goalie play 60?  What will be a happy medium for Byfuglien in terms of minutes with six healthy D?  What are his expectations from Byfuglien this season?  What is the next step he’d like to see Adam Lowry take this season?  Has Byfuglien’s patience gotten better?  When a player signs a lucrative contract does it necessitate a conversation that they don’t need to “justify the contract”?  How will he pick a partner for Byfuglien?
