Quick look at this roster as compared to the players attending in 2015 shows that all five goalies attending are new, four defenceman (Jan Kostalek, Tucker Poolman, Nelson Nogier & Sami Niku) are returnees and many of the same forwards are coming back to Winnipeg. The only new Jets draft pick forward is Jordy Stallard.
From the Jets:
The Winnipeg Jets announced the club will hold their 2016 Development Camp from Sunday, July 3rd to Thursday, July 7th, 2016 at MTS Iceplex. The camp will bring together several of the team’s top prospects including 2015 first-round picks Kyle Connor and Jack Roslovic along with 2016 first-round selection Logan Stanley.
Patrik Laine, the second overall selection in the 2016 NHL Draft, will not participate in any on-ice activities at Development Camp due to minor surgery on his knee following the NHL Combine. As a result, he has not yet been cleared to play.
