The Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club, in conjunction with the National Hockey League, today released its 82-game schedule for the 2015-16 NHL regular season.

The Jets will open the season with a four-game road trip on the east coast, beginning with a game against the Boston Bruins on Thursday, Oct. 8 at 6 p.m. CT. The Jets will open their season at home on Friday, Oct. 16 at MTS Centre against the Calgary Flames at 7 p.m. CT.

Winnipeg has two six-game home stands this season. The first begins with the home opener and concludes on Oct. 29 against the Chicago Blackhawks. The other runs from Jan. 18 against Colorado to Feb. 5 against Carolina. This home stand bookends the NHL All-Star Game on Jan. 31 in Nashville. The Jets’ longest road trip is five games, from Dec. 31 versus the Arizona Coyotes to Jan. 7 against the Dallas Stars.

The Jets will face Canadian teams at MTS Centre on seven occasions during the 2015-16 season, with four of those games being played in March. The Calgary Flames will be in town on Oct. 16, the Vancouver Canucks on Nov. 18 and March 22, the Toronto Maple Leafs on Dec. 2, the Montreal Canadiens on March 5, the Edmonton Oilers on March 6 and the Ottawa Senators on March 30.

The Jets will take on their Central Division rivals – Chicago Blackhawks, Colorado Avalanche, Dallas Stars, Minnesota Wild, Nashville Predators and St. Louis Blues – a total of 29 times with 15 of those match-ups coming at MTS Centre. The Jets will play the remainder of the Western Conference from the Pacific Division – Anaheim Ducks, Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, Los Angeles Kings, Arizona Coyotes, San Jose Sharks and Vancouver Canucks – a total of 21 times with 10 of those games coming at home. The Jets will also host and visit every team in the Eastern Conference once throughout the 2015-16 season.

Start times indicated on the attached schedule are in central time. Times may vary depending on broadcast requirements. Television broadcast schedules will be released shortly. However, all 82 games will once again be broadcast on TSN 1290 this season.
