WHL Championship Series will be played at Canada Life Centre

Plenty of chances to come watch the Ice play in the Championship.

The Winnipeg Ice don’t yet have an opponent for the WHL Championship but they do have a new venue. They are taking it downtown to Canada Life.

Seattle and Kamloops play game 6 tonight with the Thunderbirds up 3-2. Might fans see Jets 2022 1st rounder Brad Lambert and his Seattle squad? Of course if the Blazers win the series it means the Ice automatically qualify for the Memorial Cup with Kamloops hosting.

From the Ice:

The Winnipeg ICE, in conjunction with the Western Hockey League and True North Sports + Entertainment, are pleased to announce all Winnipeg ICE home games during the 2023 WHL Championship Series presented by Nutrien will be played at Canada Life Centre in downtown Winnipeg.
