Today in his media availability Jets head coach Paul Maurice indicated that his top centre won’t be starting the trip with the team. He didn’t provide any indication as to when 55 could join the club.  But the team confirmed afterwards that nothing has changed with Scheifele and he remains in the NHL’s COVID-19 protocol.

I also appear on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show every Saturday on our YouTube channel as well as the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show after every single Jets game. And I occasionally jump in the play-by-play booth at Canada Life to provide colour analysis during Manitoba Moose games.
