We’ve been keeping you up-to-date with what is happening overseas with Jets prospects and today we take our latest look at what is doing with Jets draft picks who are playing college hockey (or in the UHSL).
1. Harrison Blaisdell (2019 5th rounder)
UND Fighting Hawks (NCHC): 6 GP 0G 1A 4 Shots
Change since last update: Blaisdell is healthy again and played three games since our last report in December adding one assist for UND.
Next game: January 23rd vs Colorado College.
2. Nathan Smith (2018 3rd rounder)
Minnesota State University – Mankato (WCHA): 9 GP 2 G 8 A 25 Shots
Change since last update: 2 GP 1G 2A 5 shots. He’s been rolling of late scoring twice and adding five assists in his last four games.
Next game: January 22nd vs Ferris State.
3. Logan Neaton (2019 5th rounder)
UMass-Lowell (H-East): 2 GP 0W 1L 4.56 GAA .867 save%
Change since last update: He only played 20 minutes in his last start back on January 4th giving up three goals on 14 shots.
Next game: Schedule on UMass website says games have been postponed since January 8th and show the next two against Connecticut also as postponed.
4. Jared Moe (2018 6th rounder)
University of Minnesota (Big 10): 1 GP 1W 0L 4.00 GAA .833 save%.
After the Gophers squad started the season winning nine straight the Jets draft pick was finally able to get into his first game of the season which was a 6-4 win over Arizona State which saw him make 20 saves.
Next game: January 21st vs Arizona State.
5. Austin Wong (2018 7th rounder)
Harvard (ECAC): Cancelled their season due to COVID.
Fargo Force (USHL): 21 GP 6G 5A 39Shots
Change since last update: 10GP 1G 1A 10 shots
In May of 2018 Wong was selected 1st overall in Phase 2 of the 2018 USHL Draft by the Fargo Force for those curious as to how he came to be playing for the Force in the USHL.
Next game: January 22nd vs Des Moines.
6. Croix Evingson (2017 7th rounder)
Niagara University (AHA): 13 GP 1G 6A 23 Shots 13 Blocks.
Change since last update: 8 GP 1G 3A 10 Shots 7 Block
Next game: Schedule on Niagara website says games have been postponed since January 13th and show the next two against Canisius also as postponed.
