No surprise that as the NHL Draft looms the trade talk heats up.
Tonight on Insider Trading Pierre LeBrun mentioned that the Devils are a team that Connor Hellebuyck would explore a sign and trade with. The insider said that New Jersey and Winnipeg have had a conversation about the goalie. He added that from a Devils perspective the money the netminder might be seeking (around 10 million per) could keep them out of the running. Said it would have to come down for them to get more involved.
Darren Dreger then jumped into the Pierre-Luc Dubois speculation saying there are more than just two teams (Habs & Kings) who are interested in the Jets centre.
