He also had five points (1G, 4A) for HV71 U20 in the SuperElit League and four points (2G, 2A) in one game with HV71 U18. Internationally, Gustafsson won a bronze medal at the 2018 U18 World Championship playing for Sweden, racking up seven points (2G, 5A) in seven games.
