Seravalli Report: Winnipeg Jets have offer of two 2nds for Andrew Copp (want a 1st)

With the trade deadline looming large (tomorrow at 2 PM CT) the Jets made the decision to play Andrew Copp for tonight’s game against the Blackhawks in Chicago rather than choose to protect their asset.

According to Elliotte Friedman during the 32 Thoughts segment on Hockey Night in Canada the conversations and the versatile forward have been intensifying.

Frank Seravalli of Daily Faceoff reported this evening that:

“I’m told Jets have two 2nd round picks tabled for Andrew Copp, but are looking for a 1st. Tomorrow?”

Copp had two assists in the Jets 6-4 win over the Hawks. Should make for an interesting Monday here in Winnipeg.
