The Jets are winless in nine straight games (0-6-3) and after their 9-3-0 start to the season have won just six times (6-18-4) which puts them in 32nd in the entire NHL.
One of the big reasons (but by no means the only one) is they have dropped from being the third highest scoring team last season to the 27th ranked team this year.
Last night on Saturday Headlines during the game between the Jets and Senators, Elliotte Friedman shared some thoughts on what Winnipeg is looking for. He said:
“There’s no question in my mind right now, the Jets are out there looking for goals. What can they do to try to find goals and help their scoring situation”.
Not exactly breaking news that a team which cannot score is looking for more scoring. But it’s Jets related so there you go.
