Saturday Headlines: Friedman says Winnipeg Jets amongst teams reportedly expressing interest in Conor Garland

How can you tell the NHL is back? Saturday Headlines has returned and with it Elliotte Friedman sharing tidbits he’s gleaned from around the league.

This evening he mentioned Winnipeg along with Columbus and Nashville who have expressed interest in winger Conor Garland although he felt that number was higher.

Watch the clip here:

Friedman reporting the Canucks would like a defenceman back and to free up 1-2 million in cap space.

Garland had 17 goals and 29 assists in 81 games last season with Vancouver.
