Report: Winnipeg Jets place Alexander Burmistrov on waivers

His last game for the Jets was December 6th against the Red Wings and the 25 year old centre has only played 23 games for Winnipeg this season. Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reported this morning that the Jets have placed Alexander Burmistrov on waivers.

It has been a disappointing season for Burmistrov who has zero goals and two assists in those 23 games.
