Report: Winnipeg Jets organization signs Army captain Colin Bilek

While most folks are keeping their eyes on twitter for #TrotzWatch it appears there was some minor work being done as Army West Point’s Head Hockey Coach Brian Riley tweeted out the following:

The tweet was retweeted by the Army hockey twitter account. Neither the Jets nor the Moose have confirmed the signing.

If you zoom into the photo it appears to be an AHL/Moose contract for Bilek who is a 25 year old forward out of Michigan who has spent four seasons in the AHA with Army. This past season he had 11 goals and 20 assists for 31 points in 34 games. He captained the Black Knights and was named as a second team All-American this season.
