The big news over the weekend was that Tobias Enstrom had waived his no-move clause to allow the Jets to go 7-3-1. Of course this meant that he would be available to be selected by the Golden Knights in the Expansion Draft despite the fact that his agent indicated that he didn’t want to leave Winnipeg.
Today hockey insider Darren Dreger has suggested that the Jets have made a deal with the Golden Knights to not take Enstrom which is good news for Winnipeg with their lack of depth on the left side.
Unsure who the Winnipeg Jets are losing in expansion, but I believe the Jets made a deal with VGK to not take veteran Toby Enstrom.

This likely means Marko Dano is on his way to Vegas but we will have to wait until tonight to find out. We may also find out what the Jets agreed to send to Vegas as compensation for not selecting Enstrom. Another TSN Insider Bob McKenzie has suggested:
Won’t be surprised if it’s a draft pick deal: https://t.co/6HgveXoNvN
