Recently retired Winnipeg Jets head coach Rick Bowness finished third in Jack Adams Award voting

The results are in….

As Maury Povich famously would say “the results are in” and for the recently retired bench boss in Winnipeg it was a third place finishing for Rick Bowness in the voting for the Jack Adams Award which goes to the “top coach in the NHL as voted on by the National Broadcasters’ Association”.

This was the first time that Bowness had been nominated as he led his team to the second best record they’ve had since relocating to Winnipeg back in 2011. They finished in 2nd place in the entre Western Conference and they won the William M. Jennings Trophy only allowing 199 goals against during the regular season.
