Please enjoy the fourth installment of Prospect Pulse: 1992’s and 1993’s.
Nick Czinder-F- (1992) MDHL Minor Green/OLSM (6’4, 180)– Smooth skater for a big kid. Uses his size well and plays a responsible game.
Scott Hamill-F-(1992) MDHL Minor White/Churchill HS (5’11. 160)– Solid kid with a long stride. He doesn’t really stand out until you notice that he makes something happen on every shift.
Ken Babinski-F-(1992) MDHL Minor White/Midland HS (5’9, 155)– Quick players hustles on every shift and does the little things well. Is always around the puck and won’t quit on a play, offensive or defensive.
John Egan-D-(1993) Mercer Chiefs (6’1, 235)– He is a massive player for a kid his age. A true stay at home defenseman, he isn’t terribly fast but uses his size and positioning to his advantage. Heavy shot.
Kyle Horn-D-(1993) Michigan Jaguars (6’2, 175)– Very smart player who skates well and controls the play when he is on the ice. Very vocal with his teammates.
David Nowak-F-(1993) Ohio Prospects Tier 1 (About 5’7, 155)– Pluckly little winger who never quit despite his team getting thumped pretty good. Competed every shift, yapped at everyone not wearing the same colour as him and wasn’t shy about using his stick. Every team needs a kid like this.
Clancey Connor-F-(1992) PF Chang’s (6’2, 185)– Shifty player despite his size, cycles the puck well and has good instincts. Seemed to be a step ahead of the play most of the time. Read the ice well.
Trevor Cheek-F-(1992) PF Chang’s (6’2, 190)– Smart center who excelled on face-offs. Strong in front of the net and down low.
Colton Saucerman-D-(1992) Pikes Peak Miners (5’10, 170)– Plays a strong positional game, skates and moves the puck well. Logs big minutes for the team and has a physical dimension to his game.
Devin Mize-F-(1993) Pikes Peak Miners (5’7,1 45)– Offensive sparkplug who is fun to watch. Has excellent hands and just buzzes around the net. Waterbug type of guy down low.
