On the beat:

  • Peter Budaj will get the start tonight for Dallas.  The Stars are streaking so the Avs better watch out.
  • Possible Columbus targetsChris Kelly is a Hitchcock-esque player.
  • Dave Staples talks up Dennis GrebeshkovHe’ll need to take on a bigger role with Visnovsky injured.
  • Both David Booth and Tomas Vokoun will be in the Panthers lineup tonight.  Arguably the two of the three most important players for the Cats.
  • Georges Laraque will return to the Habs lineup on Friday.  Price to start in goal tomorrow too.
  • The Senators lines from practice today.  Not exactly the most imposing second line in the business.
  • Viktor Kozlov is out tonight for the Capitals.  Enough offense on that team so you don’t have to worry.
