  • Matt Greene has signed a five year, $14.75 million deal.  Greene doesn’t provide offense but is a physical, stay-at-home defenseman who is entering his prime years.  An average of just under three million dollars is about the going rate for that type of player.

  • Battle of California likes the move of Alexander Frolov to the Kings’ checking line.  Don’t know how long this will last.
  • The Blues’ Chris Mason will miss two weeks after having an appendectomy.  Legace should pick up the slack.
