Glen Murray, placed on unconditional waivers yesterday, was not claimed by any team prior to today’s 12 p.m. deadline.

No shock here. The only surprise would have been if Murray had gotten claimed. The team will buy him out tomorrow and he will be free to sign wherever he chooses.
