Remind me to never play pool with Brendan Lemieux as he banks it in. He’s looked really good too. Goal is being reviewed. It counts. #AHL pic.twitter.com/I30FMp70xY

Ok this is getting out of hand. Now Winnipegger Scott Glennie has his second of the season and night as he tips it home. 3-1 for Moose. pic.twitter.com/ySFxo0WgUF

If you like goal scoring you shouldn’t come to Moose games. Another goal. This time a beauty by JC Lipon (his 1st of season). 4-1 Manitoba. pic.twitter.com/j4Kpl5MnVi

That was Quinton Howden’s seventh goal of the AHL season in his 10th game. Nice bank shot by him. Goals keep coming for Moose. 5-2. pic.twitter.com/nETpAw6bMP

The Moose held on to win by a final score of 5-2 in front of the biggest crowd for any of the home starts this season (shade under 7000). Lots of pushing and showing during the game which was punctuated with an unlikely pugilist in Jimmy “don’t touch Jimmy” Lodge dropping the gloves.
Three Stars:
1. Scott Glennie
2. Quinton Howden
3. Ondrej Pavelec.

Autograph Alley:
Following the game some of the Moose players made their way to autograph alley where approximately 250 fans were waiting to meet some of the players and get some gear signed:
Upon Further Reflection:
1. The Manitoba contingent on the Moose continue to play well. Scott Glennie and Quinton Howden with plenty of hard work and Peter Stoykewych was solid once again.
2. Jack Roslovic is dynamic and has tons of skill. Still needs to gain strength but has great vision and makes good decisions with the puck. He is currently tied for third in AHL rookie scoring with ten points (three goals and seven assists). He is tied for 13th overall in the entire AHL.
3. Ondrej Pavelec played his best game since being sent down to the AHL. The first goal is one he would like to have back but he bounced back and made a total of 34 saves.
