The Moose left on Wednesday for a six-game road trip which began for them in Milwaukee where they would face the Admirals.
Lineup news:
With Danny Zhilkin recalled up to the big club it meant that Parker Ford would move to the middle and Tyson Empey returned to the line on the wing.
Moose lineup:
Di Giuseppe – Yager – Fagemo
Barlow – Lambert – Chibrikov
Shaw – Gustafsson- Duehr
JAD– Ford – Empey
Phillips – Salomonsson
Heinola – Clague
Sautner – Bauer
DiVincentiis
Notable:
Tyrel Bauer fights just hit differently as the Moose defenceman drops the gloves with Admirals Andreas Englund. Messing with number 2 is not advisable.
Jets prospect Colby Barlow goes backhand roof to tie the game for the Moose. That’s his third goal of the season with assists to his fellow prospects Brad Lambert and Nikita Chibrikov.
Less than a minute later the visitors had a 2-1 lead as the captain Mason Shaw took advantage of a miscue and he buried the opportunity.
It looked like prospect Nikita Chibrikov might have been lost just before the end of the 1st period after he blocked a shot but he would return in the middle frame.
A suboptimal 2nd period for the Moose in Milwaukee as a 2-1 lead after 20 became a 4-2 deficit after 40. It continued to go poorly for the visitors as the home team increased their lead courtesy of three goals in the 3rd to take a significant lead.
Jets prospect Brad Lambert picked up his third of the season for the Moose which meant he finished the game with 1G 1A
Multi-point game:
Brad Lambert 1G 1A
