Salomonsson was just cleared to play with Manitoba and got into their two elimination games against the Admirals this past weekend.
But late in the 3rd period of the final game he went to deliver a hit in the neutral zone and slid hard into the boards. He stayed on the bench for the final five minutes of the final frame but did not play another shift.
Here was play that took Jets prospect Elias Salomonsson out of game late in 3rd.
He went for a hit in the neutral zone but ended up sliding hard into the boards.
You can see him testing out his shoulder after the play.

Tough way for his season to end after his Jets season ended in concussion protocol.
It was still a successful 2025-26 season for the 2nd rounder who played 32 NHL games for Winnipeg as well as 29 games for Manitoba.
