Back in 2016 Brandon, Manitoba product Jordy Stallard had his name called by the Jets in the 5th round (127th overall) at the First Niagara Center in Buffalo, New York. He was with the Calgary Hitmen that season before he was traded to the Prince Albert Raiders although he only played eight games with his new squad before shoulder surgery knocked him out for the remainder of that season.
He has had a bounce back season as an overager with the Raiders finishing the season with 44 goals and 47 assists for 91 points in 72 games which was good enough for 14th overall in WHL scoring.
He has signed an amateur tryout agreement with the Moose. Should be good to see him in camp with the farm club. He skated with Manitoba today and voice of the Moose Mitch Peacock spoke with him afterwards.
